It’s been a couple of weeks since my new book, Marketing Spark, was published. It’s a book that I’ve been working on for about 3 years and it’s intended to provide entrepreneurs with strategic and tactical guidance so they can embrace the power of story-driven marketing.

Among the best comment that I’ve received so far is that Marketing Spark isn’t your typical marketing book.marketingMarketing Spark

Most marketing books talk about concepts and ideas. That’s fine but after a while, the reader starts to think. “Yeah, but what about actually doing marketing? How do I make marketing happen? How do I drive tactical execution?”

At the end of the day, concepts and ideas are fine but you need to turn them into reality to move your marketing, sales, and business forward.

marketingI always planned Marketing Spark to be more of a workbook than a book featuring ideas and concepts.

As a result, Marketing Spark includes templates, frameworks, worksheets tools, case studies and step-by-step guides on how you can do marketing in different marketing channels, whether it’s podcast or websites, ebooks, public speaking and infographics.

I wanted to give entrepreneurs and small business owners with an everyday resource, something that would sit prominently on their desks rather than collect dust on a bookshelf.

If you’re thinking about doing email marketing, for example, there is a step-by-step guide on how to make that happen and tools to discover to effectively create and launch email marketing campaigns. That’s the whole idea.

These days, there’s a lot of information out there about what to do and how to do it but at the end of the day, you need to get stuff done right. You need to create content, marketing, and sales collateral created so you can generate leads and we can drive sales.

If you’re an entrepreneur and you want a resource to actually make marketing happen, you should check out Marketing Spark.
